The Qualitative Bayesian Reasoning Network (QBR-Net) is a virtual community for scholars interested in the method. The network aims to connect researchers, disseminate information about training opportunities, provide feedback through online workshops, and raise the profile of Bayesianism in the social sciences. If you have a paper that applyies Bayesian reasoning or if you are interested in learning more about how to deploy it in practice, join our google group: contact Tasha.Fairfield@eui.eu
The working group on Bayesian Inference for Qualitative Evidence (BIQE) at the European University Institute welcomes EUI scholars at all career stages who are interested in applying Bayesian reasoning in their work. We hold in-person workshops as well as hybrid workshops in conjunction with QBR-Net. The focus is on helping scholars refine hypotheses and systematically evaluate how strongly empirical evidence supports an explanation relative to rivals.
