I'm looking forward to teaching Bayesian Analysis for Qualitative Evidence hosted by Statistical Horizons on August 26–27, 2025.

This live, online workshop is designed to help analysts who work with any form of qualitative evidence learn how to apply Bayesian reasoning to make their inferences more transparent, structured, and rigorous.

Over two 4-hour sessions, we’ll cover:

·       Fundamentals of Bayesian inference

·       Using qualitative date to update judgements about which explanation is more plausible

·       Real-world examples of qualitative Bayesian inference in action

·       Tools to enhance inference in multi-method research and reduce confirmation bias

No prior background in Bayesian methods is required.

If you are a social scientist, public policy analyst, epidemiologist, medical anthropologist, intelligence analyst, or researcher in any field where qualitative information could be useful, join us to learn how to sharpen your reasoning and improve the reliability of your findings!
